dc.description.abstractHuman resources information system (HRIS) is a system that aims to collect, store, manage, analyze, and share information relevant to human resources within a company. Through the use of HRIS, companies can better manage their human resources, increase employee productivity, and ultimately, support the achievement of overall company goals and performance. This study aims to analyze how HRIS implemented by PT Bank Sumut can increase effectiveness and efficiency in terms of human resource management. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach that aims to explore phenomena in the field. The data collection methods in this study, namely through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis methods carried out in this study, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of HRIS at PT Bank Sumut has had a positive impact in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of company operations, especially in terms of human resource management. HRIS allows companies to have better access to important information related to human resources. However, there are still some problems that arise from the implementation of HRIS, such as the development of provisions and regulations, programmer limitations, technological developments, and dependence on the company's internal network so that it cannot be accessed mobile. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate and develop the HRIS at PT Bank Sumut.en_US
