Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Berbasis Cangkang Telur Ayam dan Ampas Tebu Terhadap Kualitas Nutrisi Rumput Raja (Pennisetum Purpuphoides)

Abstract

This research aims to assess the value of dry matter, crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber from king grass given liquid organic fertilizer based on chicken egg shells and sugar cane bagasse. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. Treatment consists of P0= control; P1= POC 15%; P2= POC 30%; and P3= POC 45%. The parameters observed were dry matter content, crude protein, crude fat and king grass crude fat. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference (P<0.05) between treatments in the value of crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber of king grass plants, but there was no significant difference (P>0.05) in the dry matter value of grass plants. king. The conclusion of this research is that liquid organic fertilizer based on sugar cane bagasse and chicken egg shells can increase the value of crude protein, crude fat and can reduce crude fiber in king grass, but has not been able to affect the dry matter value of king grass. The best treatment is giving POC with a concentration of 45%.
