Ginger is a biopharmaceutical plant that is widely cultivated by the public because it has many benefits and also has a high selling price. One of the problems in cultivating red ginger is the ineffective use of inorganic and organic fertilizers, resulting in damage to the soil structure and also the use of inappropriate seeds, resulting in non-uniform shoot growth. The giving weight of rhizomes and cow manure is an alternative in an effort to increase the growth and production of red ginger plants. This research aims to determine the effect of heavy application weight rhizomes and cow manure growth and production of red ginger plants. This research was carried out on the land of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra, Medan Baru, Medan City, North Sumatra with an altitude of ± 27 meters above sea level from July 2023 to February 2024. This research used a Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) with two treatments, namely by giving cow manure organic fertilizer: 0; 20; 40; 60 ton/ha and rhizome weight:
