The amount of other cations that interact directly with potassium, such as Al3+ and Mn2+, influences the availability of potassium in Inceptisol. In Entisol, potassium availability is also influenced by the presence of minerals that contain potassium. Potassium bound to minerals in Ultisol is generally dominated by 1:1 type clay minerals. Potassium is a macro nutrient that comes from minerals in the soil. The aim of the research was to find potassium solubilizing bacteria from several types of soil and to test the potential of potassium solubilizing bacteria originating from several types of soil. The research consists of several stages, namely isolating bacteria in several types of soil, purifying to obtain pure isolates which will be tested for potency on Alexandrov media, gram staining test, observing macroscopic and microscopic characteristics of bacteria, testing the potential to dissolve K with several potassium sources such as K2HPO4 and feldspar (KalSi3O8) and tested in soil for 30 days of incubation. The results of the research showed that there were 6 bacterial isolates obtained, including 2 isolates from Entisol, 2 isolates from Inceptisol and 2 isolates from Ultisol. The six bacteria were tested on Alexandrov media (K2HPO4) and incubated for 7 days and the largest potassium dissolution index was obtained in the BKI 2 bacterial isolate of 192%. The six bacteria were tested on Alexandrov (feldspar) media which was incubated for 7 days and the largest potassium dissolution index was obtained in the BKE 1 bacterial isolate of 124%.en_US
