Produktivitas dan Biaya Pemanenan Bambu Belangke di Hutan Rakyat Bambu Desa Timbang Lawan Kecamatan Bahorok Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Bamboo is one of the non-timber forest product commodities from North Sumatra because its potential is quite high. The potential of bamboo in Bahorok District has been reduced due to land conversion by the local community and considering bamboo as a less commercial crop. This study aims to: (1) analyze the productivity and cost of harvesting belangke bamboo (Gigantochloa pruriens Widjaja) in the Bamboo People's Forest of Timbang Lawan Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency; and (2) analyze the cost of harvesting belangke bamboo (Gigantochloa pruriens Widjaja) in Bamboo People's Forest Timbang Lawan Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency The potential of bamboo is carried out by conducting an inventory of bamboo stands. The bamboo distribution pattern is carried out by taking bamboo coordinate points. Harvesting productivity is carried out by measuring bamboo volume and bamboo harvesting work time. The cost of harvesting is carried out by conducting interviews. Data analysis was carried out using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that the productivity of harvesting belangke bamboo (Gigantochloa pruriens Widjaja) in the Bamboo People's Forest of Timbang Lawan Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency had a total average productivity of 13,947 (m³ / hour). Theharvest of belangke bamboo (Gigantochloa pruriens Widjaja) in the Bamboo People's Forest of Timbang Lawan Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency for one year is Rp 6,025,000 and the amount of cost incurred every hour is Rp 687,78.
