Tingkat Modal Sosial pada Kelompok Tani Hutan Penghijauan Maju Bersama dalam Pengelolaan Mangrove di Desa Pasar Rawa Kabupaten Langkat ter

Abstract

Mangrove forest management in Indonesia cannot be separated from the active role of communities around the mangrove area. The community in Pasar Rawa Village, Langkat Regency is active in managing the mangrove forest area by forming a forest farmer group called the Penghijauan Maju Bersama forest farmer group, which has 23 members. They are active in preserving and rehabilitating mangroves in Pasar Rawa Village. In forest management, the existence of social capital in forest farmer groups can make the group progress. Social capital is a resource owned by each member or group that can be used together to achieve certain goals. This research aims to analyze the relations between social capital in the Combined Reforestation Farmers Group in manajement mangrove forests in Pasar Rawa Village, Langkat Regency. This research was carried out in August-November 2023 in Pasar Rawa Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method, namely data analysis by describing or illustrating the data that has been obtained. There are 5 elements of social capital at forest famer group (KTH) Penghijauan Maju Bersama; Trust, Social Networks, Social Norms, Proactive Actions, Concern for Others and Mangrove Conservation. Based on the results of research on social capital at KTH Penghijauan Maju Bersama in managing mangroves in Pasar Rawa Village, it is classified as very big. The correlation test carried out proves that social capital at KTH Penghijauan Maju Bersama has a significant relationship with mangrove management in Pasar Rawa Village.
