| dc.description.abstract | Sweet potatoes are a strategic food crop ranked 7th in the world, and a source of carbohydrates ranked 4th after rice, corn and cassava. Sweet potatoes play an important role as a food reserve when rice and corn production is no longer sufficient. One of the efforts that needs to be made to increase national production of sweet potato plants is to use liquid organic fertilizer from golden snail eggs. This research aims to determine the effect of concentration and time interval of applying liquid organic fertilizer from golden snail eggs on sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) plants.this reseacrh was conducted in the land of Jl. Perjuangan Sei Mencirim district, Kutalimbaru subdistrict, Deli Serdang city, Sumatera Utara province. which was carried out from August 2023 to December 2023. This research used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) which consisted of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is 4 levels of liquid organic fertilizer, namely 0 ml/l,37.5 ml/l, 75 ml/l, and 112.5ml/l. The second factor is 3 levels of time intervals for giving golden snail egg poc, namely once every 5 days, once every 10 days, and once every 15 days. The results of the research showed that the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer for golden snail eggs had a significant effect on stem length, tuber length per sample, tuber weight per sample, tuber weight per plot, and wet weight of the crown per sample. The time interval for applying liquid organic fertilizer from golden snail eggs had a significant effect on stem length and wet crown weight per sample. The interaction between application concentration and time interval for application of golden snail egg liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on stem length, wet weight per sample, and grading of fresh tubers A. | en_US |
