    Abstract
    Employees have performance to advancing their company, especially when facing complex competition like now. Employee engagement and culture are two key elements in improving employee performance within large companies like PT Bank BPR Pijer Podi Kekelengen Sukamakmur. However, researcher have found that employee performance in the company tended to be subpar as evidenced by declining company’s profit. Researcher discovered weak emotional attachment between the company and its employees, as well as the company’s culture that wasn’t deeply rooted. This study aims to analyze the relationship between employee engagement, as an emotional attachment variable, and culture with performance of PT Bank BPR Pijer Podi Kekelengen Sukamakmur’s employees. Researcher want to examine how high the influence of them on improving employee performance in the company. Quantitative method with an associative approach is used in this research. Primary data is collected through distribution of questionnaires to 32 samples obtained using the saturated sample technique. Secondary data is also used as support. Data analysis is conducted using instrument tests and classical assumption tests to ensure data accuracy, as well as multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing as tools to draw conclusions. Results show that employee engagement and organizational culture have a correlation level of 82.3% with employee performance, indicating a strong connection between the first two variables and the latter. Researchers found that both variables have influence of 67.7% on performance improvement, highlighting the importance of these in the process of shaping and enhancing employee performance in a company or organization.
