Analisis Risiko Kesehatan Lingkungan (ARKL) Pajanan Logam Berat Timbal (Pb) dan PM10 pada Anak Usia Sekolah Dasar (6-12 Tahun) di Kecamatan Medan Belawan

Abstract

Medan Belawan District is maritime area that support port activities. As a port area, there is a lot of activities that produce pollutant, for example lead and PM10 which can damage the air condition. This bad condition can increase the risk of public health, especially for children. Therefore, this study aim to analyze risk quotient (RQ) and risk management of lead and PM10 exposure for elementary school aged children (6-12 years) in Medan Belawan District. This study use environment health risk analysis method with 100 respondets sprad across 6 sub-districts ini Medan Belawan District. However, upon evaluating individual risk quotient, it was ascertained that 20% of the respondents ini 6 sub-districts exhibited a lead lifetime RQ >1, signifying the necessity for implementing lead exposure risk management. Mitigation endeavors to diminish lead exposure risks might involve curbing lead concentration levels in the atmosphere and minimizing exposure duration.
