    Abstract
Fly ash is ash waste resulting from the residue of coal combustion at PLTU. Fly ash can fly in the wind and then stick to the surface of the insulator around the power plant. Fly ash pollutants that contaminate the surface of this insulator can make the surface of the insulator conductive so that leakage current will arise through the surface of the insulator. In this study, tests were carried out to analyze leakage currents in Polymer Silicone Rubber Insulators that are influenced by fly ash pollutants and air humidity. The results of the test found that the value of leakage current in insulators in clean conditions was in the range of 11.33 - 12.4 μA. After the pollutants are applied to the insulator surface with a light weight, the leakage current is in the range of 15.63 - 19.66 μA, in medium weight it is in the range of 16.73 - 20.4 μA and in heavy weight it is in the range of 17.2 - 22.26 μA. It can be seen from the results obtained, the more increased the weight of the pollutants given, the leakage current will increase. Meanwhile, at air humidity 75% RH leakage current is in the range of 15.63 - 17.73 μA, at 80% RH leakage current is in the range of 16.3 - 19.63 μA, at 85% RH leakage current is in the range of 17.56 - 20.46 μA and at 90% RH leakage current is in the range of 19.03 - 22.26. From the results obtained, it is known that if the air humidity increases, the leakage current in the insulator also increases
