Plastic waste is a serious issue globally at present. The pyrolysis method is employed to convert plastic waste, specifically PP type, into oil and syngas . The produced syngas is utilized as a fuel for generators. This study tests the performance of engines fueled by LDPE syngas , PP syngas , LPG, and Pertalite. The highest power output is achieved when the generator operates using LDPE syngas , reaching 271.7 watts. A comparison of exhaust gas emissions between PP syngas , LDPE syngas , LPG, and Pertalite reveals that LDPE syngas reduces CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) emissions by 1.6%, decreases Nox levels by 13%, and increases O2 levels by 1.8% compared to Pertalite fuel, which is the recommended fuel for the engine.en_US
