dc.description.abstractSingle-stage double-row steam turbines are commonly used in palm oil mills. Designing a good turbine structure can result in a turbine with minimal vibration. If the vibration of the turbine exceeds tolerance limits, rubbing can occur between rotating and stationary parts. Vibration can indicate the severity of damage to the steam turbine. This research is conducted to analyze the vibration of a single-stage doublerow steam turbine, identify the influence of dimensions and contour of the runner on turbine vibration. SolidWorks software is used to create a 3D model of the steam turbine, and ANSYS is used to analyze vibration. Changes in the runner diameter have a greater impact compared to the addition of balancing holes on the steam turbine runner. The 5 natural frequency modes of the steam turbine in variation 1 are 39.813 Hz, 58.411 Hz, 70.855 Hz, 79.127 Hz, and 113.08 Hz. The 5 natural frequency modes in variation 2 are 49.04 Hz, 72.793 Hz, 88.12 Hz, 96.951 Hz, and 144.94 Hz. The 5 natural frequency modes in variation 3 are 39.767 Hz, 58.227 Hz, 70.813 Hz, 79.013 Hz, and 111.7 Hz. The 5 natural frequency modes in variation 4 are 49.044 Hz, 72.795 Hz, 88.121 Hz, 96.953 Hz, and 146.52 Hz.en_US
