Medan City is the third-largest city in Indonesia that is developing and
becoming land for business people to develop their business. The population that
is now increasing statistically shows an indication of the increase due to the
increase in movement. The increasing number of residents in the city of Medan
has led to land scarcity and increasingly expensive land prices in the city center,
thus encouraging people to live in suburban areas far from workplaces. To bring
the community back to the center of its daily activities, a residential building and
some supporting functions are needed.
Apartments with additional functions such as F&B become an
alternative solution that can be applied as a solution to the problem of population
density. The development of apartments with dual functions in the city of Medan
has become a great opportunity for people and business people. This apartment
can be interpreted as a multi-story structure, and has the same needs and facilities
and has a lot of water demand and tends to be wasteful so that the concept of
water conservation in the F&B double function apartment building is very suitable
for saving water by using natural water such as rainwater, river water, and
recycled water that is treated and given the care to minimize the use of water in
buildings.
