dc.description.abstract | The quality of electrical power is one of the issues in the energy system. Voltage flicker and harmonics are among the power quality problems. These disturbances can damage sensitive loads. The Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) is an efficient and flexible solution to address such issues. In this research, the control systems of DVR using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) are proposed to investigate the application of these two control systems in DVR. The simulation is conducted based on a 70% load at the SB 02 Sibolga feeder. The modeling and simulation results are carried out using Matlab - Simulink software. The simulation results indicate that the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the voltage is successfully reduced with DVR ANN and SVPWM. The THD values for DVR ANN and SVPWM are in Phase C 4.60%. | en_US |
