Analisis Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Efektivitas Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) di Universitas Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The world of education in Indonesia continues to improve according to developments over time. Education is very important for individual and social development, so that the target for achieving the goal of providing education that is supported by high quality competencies is how to implement the education policy itself. Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is a program that is being intensively promoted by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, with the hope that through this program students can master various knowledge that is useful for entering the world of work. The problem that occurs is that there are still difficulties encountered by students which affect the effectiveness of the program. In this research, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis was carried out to determine the relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variable. Based on this research, the R-Squares value was obtained at 79.7%. In other words, the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable at 79.7% in the effectiveness of the MBKM program for USU students. In hypothesis testing, it was concluded that the ease of implementation variable with a t-statistic value of 3.434 and implementation satisfaction with a t-statistic value of 6.442 had a significant influence on the effectiveness of the MBKM program at the University of North Sumatra.
