Serdang Bedagai Regency, where various ethnic groups reside in this Sorcerer Land of the Indigenous Nation, is known as Miniature Indonesia. Many locals still do not understand the culture of the country in which they reside. Based on the issues at hand, ideas for designing an arts and culture facility that would house and support all artistic endeavors and the preservation of cultural traditions, particularly Malay traditions as a prelude to the founding of Serdang Bedagai Regency, emerged. Neo-Vernacular Architecture will serve as the design theme for the Arts and Culture Facility. Neo- Vernacular architecture is an architectural idea that applies particular patterns or motifs from the location itself to buildings to include parts of the local culture. The usage of the neo-vernacular concept is also consistent with the building's intended use as an arts and cultural facility, where the goal of this project is to educate locals and visitors about the local culture.en_US
