dc.description.abstractPre-design of a Portland Pozzolan Cement (PPC) plant with waste paper sludge ash as an additional substitute raw material with a capacity of 650,000 tons per year, operating for 300 days a year. The main process in this pre-design of the plant consists of five stages: raw material provision and preparation, drying and grinding of raw materials, clinker formation, grinding of clinker into cement, and cement packaging. The Portland Pozzolan Cement plant is planned to be established in the Sangatta district of Kutai Timur Regency, East Kalimantan Province, with a land area of 19,982 m2. It will require 145 employees and will be structured as a Limited Liability Company (PT). The results of the economic analysis of this Portland Pozzolan Cement plant are as follows: 1. Total Investment Capital = Rp. 4.142.312.417.856,56 2. Total Production Cost = Rp. 548.706.813.490,52 3. Sales Revenue = Rp.1.015,107.604.957,45 4. Net Profit = Rp. 303.160.514.453,51 5. Break Even Point (BEP) = 38,7% 6. Return on Investment (ROI) = 17 % 7. Pay Back Period (PBP) = 8 years 8. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 8 % From the economic analysis results, it can be concluded that the Portland Pozzolan Cement (PPC) plant with a capacity of 650,000 tons per year is feasible to be established.en_US
