dc.description.abstract | Generator efficiency is a key factor in determining the performance and reliability of an electrical system. The hydrogen cooling system on the rotor has been considered as an effective solution to keep the rotor temperature within safe and optimal limits, which in turn can improve generator efficiency. The research method used is the collection of data from the PT PLN Indonesia Power Pangkalan Susu generator, including rotor temperature, generator efficiency, and hydrogen cooling system performance. This data was then analyzed to determine the effect of the hydrogen cooling system on the rotor on generator efficiency. The results showed that the hydrogen cooling system on the rotor has a significant effect on generator efficiency. The generator efficiency increases significantly when the hydrogen cooling system on the rotor is used, compared to the condition without the hydrogen cooling system. In addition, the hydrogen cooling system on the rotor also improves the overall reliability and performance of the generator. The conclusion of this study is that the hydrogen cooling system on the rotor has a positive influence on the efficiency and performance of the generator, Therefore, it is recommended to use a hydrogen cooling system on the rotor to improve the efficiency and performance of the generator. This research also provides recommendations for the development of new methods and technologies in improving the efficiency and performance of generators by utilizing hydrogen cooling systems on the rotor. | en_US |
