Research on temperature variations in calcium carbonate (CaCO3) from eggshells of purebred chickens and their application to the adsorption of Mn 2+ metal ions has been carried out. The adsorption ability of the adsorbent can be increased by adding temperature variations. The eggshell powder is cleaned first then soaked in hot water, then dried then crushed and sieved with a 100 mesh sieve then baked in the oven for 15 minutes to remove the water content still contained therein after that added 0.1 M HCl and soaked for 48 hours then powdered CaCO3 was fired at various temperatures of 4000C, 6000C and 8000C and then characterized using XRF where at a temperature variation of 4000C the calcium carbonate obtained was 59.9%, the temperature at 6000C was calcium carbonate obtained 64.0% and the temperature at 800 0C was calcium carbonate 43.9% temperature. The optimum morphology obtained contained calcium carbonate at 6000C. The morphology on the surface of calcium carbonate after addition at 4000C was numerous and unevenly distributed at 6000C irregularly and randomly at 8000C based on the results of the EDX SEM characterization. The adsorption process for metal Mn2+ The results showed that the absorption of the adsorbent for a temperature variation of 4000C was 2.458, a temperature variation of 6000C was 1.2438 and at a temperature of 8000C it was 4.68.en_US
