dc.description.abstract | Urban residents' interest in shopping centers known as malls is very high because
they are considered a practical choice, and as a result, they are always busy places
with visitors from various backgrounds. To preserve traditional design elements,
one of the steps taken is to adopt a Neo Vernacular design. This Neo Vernacular
architectural approach has the ability to adapt well to various eras and building
types. Shopping and entertainment centers are the right choice for implementing
this Neo Vernacular architectural concept. In addition, shopping and
entertainment centers will become more attractive if they can reflect local
historical and cultural values. In its implementation, we will find many classic
ornaments with regional motifs that are clearly visible on the building facade.
Inside the room, we will find details such as carvings applied to the columns and
various other interior elements, thus creating a unique atmosphere. In this way,
this mall can become a proud new icon for Padangsidimpuan City | en_US |
