In the context of implementing learning, teachers, lecturers, students, and the community use the library as a repository of information and knowledge as a source of learning. Many people think of a library as a large collection of books that exist for the purpose of collecting, preserving, and providing books. In the library students can search and collect the latest scientific data which helps them with their coursework. One of the reasons for the declining interest in reading nowadays is that people, especially students, prefer to get instant information through social media. The inability of libraries to keep up with the times and their inability to meet students' needs are two additional factors that make libraries quiet, apart from the decline in students' interest in reading. Therefore, it is necessary to have a Public Library that can accommodate the needs of community activities and can be intended for anyone in the city of Balige. This Public Library design incorporates several aspects of the surrounding building facades by using a contextual architectural approach.en_US
