    Abstract
    The use of mineral oils that can’t be renewable without preparing the alternatives can be a problem in the future. To reduce the using of mineral oil, research was carried out by mixing Methyl Ester RBD PKO with Mineral Oil. The results of the study showed that the effect of adding the percentage composition of Methyl Ester RBD PKO can reduce the value of density, viscosity, dielectric strength, resistivity, and clarity of the oil. Percentage composition of Methyl Ester RBD PKO and Mineral Oil which has the best value of resistivity, dielectric strength, and clarity is S1 with a value of 0.553 GΩm with a decrease of 93.49% from S0 at 20oC and 0.129 GΩm with a decrease of 93.02% at 90oC, the dielectric strength is 33.8 kV/2.5 mm with a decrease of only 3.43%, and the colour clarity scale is ≤0.5. Then the percent composition of Methyl Ester RBD PKO with Mineral Oil that has the maximum reduction in using Mineral Oil is S4 with a reduction of 40% which has dielectric strength is 30 kV/2.5 mm, value of resistivity is 0.09 GΩm at 20oC and 0.022 GΩm at 90oC. The density is 0.765 g/cm3, its viscosity is 2.49 cSt, and its color clarity scale is ≤0.5. While the percent composition of the Methyl Ester RBD PKO with Mineral Oil that has the best density and viscosity is S9 with a value 0.746 g/cm3 decrease of 5.57% from S0 and 1.91 cSt with a decrease to 54.09% which all have met SPLN 49-1 Tahun 1982.
