The Influence of Ownership Structure, Company Value and Company Performance on Executive Compensation in Registered Commercial Bank on BEI in 2019-2022
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, company value and company performance on executive compensation in banking companies in 2019-2022. The population in this research is banking companies in Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022 with a total of 47 companies. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling technique, but only 16 companies had complete data with 64 analysis data. The type of research used is causal associative research. The type of data for this research is secondary data. Data analyzed using the results of this study show that managerial ownership and company value have no effect on executive compensation in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. Institutional ownership has a significant negative effect on executive compensation. Company performance has a significant positive effect on executive compensation.
