dc.description.abstractIn the current era of globalization, companies face various obstacles in achieving rapid progress. Intense competition and advances in science and technology are external factors that hinder the company's progress. To achieve innovation, high productivity, and competitiveness, companies need qualified and well-informed human resources. Employees are an important component of a company's HR, and HR management must ensure harmonious working relationships to increase productivity. This study aims to analyze how work-life balance and job burnout affect employee productivity at PT Bank Tabungan Negara Medan Branch Office. The influence between work-life balance and job burnout will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on work productivity. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling was done through probability sampling technique with simple random sampling and using 61 respondents as samples. Primary data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly and observation, while secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing. The results of the research conducted show that the work-life balance variable (X1) has a significant effect on work productivity. Meanwhile, it is known that the job burnout variable (X2) has no significant effect on work productivity, however, the work-life balance and job burnout variables simultaneously affect work productivity with an R value of 0.649. Through the Adjusted R Square value, it is also known that the work-life balance (X1) and job burnout (X2) variables contribute 40.1% to work productivity while the remaining 59.9% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.en_US
