dc.description.abstractEmployees have an important role in the sustainability of every company. However, if the work ethic applied in the company is not balanced, work monotony will occur which will make every employee feel bored with the work they do and make every employee feel bored with activities that are repeated every day and this will make the resulting employee performance less than optimal. This research aims to find out how work ethics influences employee performance at Bank Mandiri KCP Medan Ahmad Yani. To determine the influence of work monotony on employee performance at Bank Mandiri KCP Medan Ahmad Yani and to analyze the influence of work ethics and work monotony on employee performance at Bank Mandiri KCP Medan Ahmad Yani. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were employees at Bank Mandiri KCP Medan Ahmad Yani. The samples taken in this study were 32 people from. The sampling technique in this research was a sample measured using a Likert scale. The data analysis methods used in this research are Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Analysis, and Hypothesis Testing using SPSS. The results of this research show that Work Ethic and Work Monotony have an influence on Employee Performance. The coefficient of determination value shows that Work Ethic (X1) and Work Monotony (X2) have an influence on Employee Performance (Y) by 65.1%, while the remaining 34.9% is the contribution or other factors not included in this study. The results of the research above mean that the variables Work Ethic (X1) and Work Monotony (X2) are able to influence Employee Performance (Y).en_US
