Abstract

Subsidized Home Ownership Credit (KPR) is one of the government programs that aims to make all people who earn below the UMR (Regional Minimum Wage) can have a livable house. This subsidized mortgage has a low interest rate and light installments. Bank BTN as one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) engaged in the banking sector is authorized as one of the banks channeling Subsidized KPR which is also one of the pioneers of the home ownership credit system since 1974. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the system of granting and supervising Subsidized KPR at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Medan Branch Office. This research was conducted using descriptive quantitative method, where data sources were obtained through interviews and also from several other sources such as books and other publications. The results showed that in the distribution of Subsidized Home Ownership Loans (KPR) PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Medan Branch Office has carried out a good credit distribution system, especially Subsidized KPR by applying clear and strict rules so that it is distributed to the right people.
