| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine and analyze the effect of Motivation and
Compensation on Employee Engagement Teacher at the Taman Pendidikan
Perdagangan School with Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable. This
research is quantitative associative research. The population in this study was 64
teachers with 64 research teachers. Sample determination was carried out using
the saturated sample method. Research data was obtained through interviews and
distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique was carried out using
SEM (Structural Equation model) analysis with the Smart PLS application. The
research results show that motivation has a positive and significant effect on
Employee Engagement. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on
Employee Engagement. Motivation has a positive and unsignificant effect on Job
Satisfaction. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on job
satisfaction. Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee
Engagement. Job Satisfaction is unable to mediate the influence of Motivation on
Employee Engagement. Job Satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of
Compensation on Employee Engagement. | en_US |
