Researchers found that adolescents in Padang Bulan Village, Medan City experienced cyberbullying in the form of mockery, physical humiliation, and spreading photos of shame. The forms include flaming, harassment, denigration, and outing. Perpetrators often secretly photographed victims, uploaded them, and hijacked victims' accounts. Psychosocial impacts: Psychological: Stress, anxiety, and depression. Social Impact: Withdrawal from social interactions, loss of self-confidence and both victims showed more aggressive behavior towards friends and family as a result of the negative emotions such as upset, sadness, and fear they experienced due to cyberbullying.
