dc.description.abstractGas leaks can trigger fires and become a serious problem, so they need to be handled quickly and provide early warning for the owner. The right solution for this problem is a gas leak detection and handling system based on Blynk Cloud and Internet of Things (IoT). This system is built with several electronic components such as the MQ-2 which is used as a tool to detect gas leaks, buzzer as an early warning sound, servo motor and exhaust fan to reduce gas levels that accumulate in the room and Wroom 32 ESP32 Microcontroller which is used to control the work of all components and send sensor data to Blynk Cloud. The application of the IoT concept in the system is in the form of a gas level monitor that will be displayed through the Blynk application. The system works by detecting leaks into 3 categories: safe (gas levels ≤ 100 ppm), alert (gas levels 101 - 150 ppm) and danger (gas levels > 150 ppm). The system will provide different responses for the three levels of gas levels detected. In danger condition, the system will give warning through buzzer, g-mail, and critical notification through Blynk application and turn on the exhaust fan and servo motor to open the window. Based on the results of testing and analysis, the system is able to detect gas leaks with different category levels and produce outputs according to these categories.en_US
