This research aims to analyze the effect of haptic feedback on the controller on the experience of playing video games. With the development of technology in the gaming industry, interactive elements such as vibration on the controller should become a standard feature that is believed to increase player immersion and satisfaction. However, there are still a number of games using controllers that have not implemented haptic feedback into the gameplay. Therefore, this research focuses on finding balance in the user-experiences aspect. This research uses a play-test method involving play-testers who play the game "Dungeon Liberation" with and without the vibration feature on the controller. Playing experience is measured using a questionnaire that covers aspects such as immersion, satisfaction, and criticism or suggestions. A total of 15 play-testers reported that vibration provided more realistic feedback and increased emotional involvement in the game. The analysis results show that vibration on the controller significantly increases immersion and player satisfaction with an average value of 3.84 out of a maximum value of 5. These findings support the hypothesis that the vibration feature on the controller is an important component in creating a more immersive and satisfying gaming experience.
