Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kinerja Sistem Informasi Akuntansi pada Perusahaan Consumer Goods di Medan

Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze some factors which influenced the Performance Of Accounting Information System at Consumer Goods Companies in Medan. The research used associative causal methods. The population was 287 IT Managers of Consumer Goods in Medan, and all of them were used as the samples, using census sampling technique. The data were gathered by using questionnaires and analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis with an SEM ( Structural Equation Madeling) program. The result of the research showed that the involvement of users in the system development process, personal technical ability in informattion sytem, organization size, top management support, formalization of information system development, training and education program for users, and users’ satisfaction partially had significant influence on the performance of accounting information system. Simultaneously, the involvement of users in the system development process, personal technical ability in information sytem, organization size, top management support, formalization of information system development, training and education program for users’, and users’ final satisfaction had significant influence the performance of accounting information system.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Kinerja Sistem Informasi Akuntansi pada Perusahaan Consumer Goods di Medan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah asosiatif yang bersifat kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Manager IT Consumer Goods di Medan berjumlah 287 orang sebagai responden. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan metode sensus, maka seluruh populasi menjadi sampel. Data yang diolah adalah data primer diperoleh dengan cara mengolah data kuesioner yang diisioleh 287 responden. Data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dibantu program SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa keterlibatan pengguna dalam proses pengembangan sistem, kemampuan teknik personal sistem informasi, ukuran organisasi, dukungan manajemen puncak, formalisasi pengembangan sistem informasi, program pelatihan dan pendidikan pengguna, dan kepuasan pengguna akhir secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi. Secara simultan keterlibatan pengguna dalam proses pengembangan system, kemampuan teknik personal sistem informasi, Ukuran organisasi, dukungan manajemen puncak, formalisasi pengembangan sistem informasi, program pelatihan dan pendidikan pengguna, dan kepuasan pengguna akhir mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja siatem informasi akuntansi.
