DWDM (Dense Wavelength- Division Multiplexing) nowadays has developed and optimized as efficient as possible to fulfill increasing market demands of optics transmission. A DWDM network usually implements an optical amplifier like EDFA or YDFA that can be used together to become a hybrid optical amplifier. Besides hybrid optical amplifier, there is an innovation called the soliton pulse that can propagate in quite massive distances without dispersion effects. This research implements a DWDM model with soliton transmission and cascaded and in-line EDFA-YDFA hybrid optical amplifier and analysis is performed based on changes of transmission distance of 100 km, 130 km and 160 km, with number of channels of 8 ,16 , and 32 channels, and varying input power of 10 dBm, 5 dBm, 0 dBm, -5 dBm, and -10 dBm to be simulated on Optisystem 7.0 with assigned parameters on said model to observe whether the DWDM model results is within ITU-T standards. With data acquired from the simulation from Optisystem 7.0, it is gathered that the most consistent distance while its performance is within ITU-T standards of BER lesser than or equal to 10-12, and Q-factor greater than or equal to 6, is 100 km until 130 km with input power of 10 dBm. The effects of soliton in this paper proves to have a small effect on DWDM performance
