    Abstract
Background : The mortality rate for COVID-19 is currently very high both in the world and in Indonesia. One of the radiological examinations that can be done is a chest photo. Chest X-ray has a role in first-line examination efforts because this examination is easy to use and has better availability. The Brixia Score method can be applied to chest X-rays to monitor lung abnormalities in COVID-19 patients. Methods : Bivariate analysis using the chi-square test to see the significance of the independent variables and dependent variables, as well as to see the opportunities for each variable continued with the analysis using the Multinominal logistic regression test. The final results can be interpreted if p < 0.05, significant if the value of OR > 1, is a risk factor, OR <1 is a preventive risk factor/protective factor, and OR ≥ 1 is not a risk/reference Result : In this study more aged 60-69 years (39.5%). More than half of the research subjects were female (52.6). This study found that the group with the highest levels of Interleukin-6 was > 50 pg/mL (34.2%). The group with the highest degree of severity of chest X-rays was mild (39.5%). Statistical test results showed Interleukin-6 levels of 7-50 pg/ml associated with moderate severity (OR = 1.77, 95% CI 1.05-3.32) and weight (OR = 1.33, 95% CI 1 .03-3.35). Meanwhile, the level of Interleukin - 6 > 50 pg/ml is related to the severity of the severity (OR = 1.97, 95% CI 1.15-3.34). Conclusion : The majority of COVID-19 patients are aged over 60 years. The majority of COVID-19 patients are female. High interleukin levels significantly increase the risk of a severe chest X-ray in COVID patients
