This research aims to see the effectiveness of Siswa Tangguh Training in increasing
mental toughness which is moderated by social support. The training uses the Siswa
Tangguh Training Module (Mukhtar et al., 2022) which was developed based on
the theory of Clough et al. (2002) about mental toughness. Training is carried out
in 3 meetings, each meeting approximately 1.5-2 hours. The material includes
building goals, knowing yourself, learning atmosphere, coping stress, and
cooperation. Training activities include delivering material, discussions,
assignments, reviews, presentations, watching bullying videos, and cooperative
games. This research uses a quasi-experimental design. Participants in this
research were 36 students of SMPIT Sunggal who were divided into two groups
(experimental and control groups). The results of the research show that Siswa
Tangguh training contributes to mental toughness by 60.5%, while the remaining
39.5% is caused or can be explained by other factors outside this research model,
meanwhile social support does not play a moderating role in effectiveness. Siswa
Tangguh training on mental toughness in SMPIT Sunggal students. This means that
in this study the social support variable was unable to moderate the relationship
