    Abstract
    PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN). This aims to find out how important the role of loan service is in selling bank products. PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) is one of the companies engaged in banking services. The collection method used is primary and secondary data that has been collected by the author through direct interview methods and by collecting book data and other references. In the face of existing competition and in order to improve banking services PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) makes various efforts to increase consumers to use the products offered by PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the role of loan service in the process of providing subsidized home ownership loans (KPR) at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) (PERSERO) TBK. USU Sub-Branch Office is very important because Loan Service is in charge of handling Bank operations, especially granting credit to debtors. In the banking world, the main task of Loan Service is to provide services and foster relationships with the community. Loan Service Banks in serving customers always try to attract by seducing prospective customers to become customers of the Bank concerned in various ways. Loan Service is the backbone of operational activities in the banking world, especially in the process of providing credit.Procedures or stages in the mortgage / credit application process at the USU Branch Office of the State Savings Bank and knowing what determinants cause the subsidized mortgage application to get approval from the bank and what actions prospective customers can take before making a loan so that the subsidized mortgage application process gets approval from the Bank so that the submission process is approved. Procedures or stages in the KPR / Credit application process at Bank Tabungan Negara USU Sub-Branch Office and find out what determinants cause the subsidized mortgage application to get approval from the Bank and what actions prospective customers can take before making a loan so that the KPR / Credit application process gets approval from the Bank so that the application process is approved.
