Analisis Penerapan Lean Six Sigma dan Metode Triz dalam Pengendalian Kualitas Produk Sepatu Pantofel di CV. Xyz
Analysis of the Application of Lean Six Sigma and Triz Method in Quality Control of Pantofel Products at CV. Xyz
Abstract
CV. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the leather shoe making industry. The problem faced by the company is that there is waste such as overprocessing activities and product defects of 8.64% which exceeds the company limit of 5%. The purpose of this study is to identify and eliminate waste and product defects that have an impact on the efficiency of the production process with Lean Six Sigma and provide suggestions for improvement with the TRIZ method. Based on the results of observations and measurements at CV. XYZ, 23 value-added time activities of 135.85 minutes were obtained, and 6 necessary non-value-added time activities of 90.36 minutes with manufacturing lead time of 226.21 minutes, process cycle efficiency level of 60.05% and process velocity of 0.0947 processes per hour. Then improvements in the categories of people, methods, machines, materials, and the environment are further analyzed using TRIZ to get suggestions for improvements related to the factors that cause defects in loafer products. From the calculation results, the percentage of defects obtained was 4.32% from 8.64% of the application of 50% of the estimated quality improvement results, then 3 activities were simplified which were considered as overprocessing waste so that there was a reduction in manufacturing lead time by 88.72 minutes, an increase in process cycle efficiency to 98.81%, and an increase in process velocity to 0.0035 processes per hour
