dc.description.abstractHuman Resources (HR) are one of the most important resources found in an organization or company. This research aims to determine the effect of job transfers and the work environment on employee performance at PT. Bank X. The population in this study are all employees who have been transferred to Kabanjahe City Area Office of PT. Bank X, numbering 35 people. The sampling technique used in this research is a saturated sample where the entire population is used as sample members. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale and distributed to 35 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research analysis show that partially the work mutation variable has a Tcount value of 1.393 < Ttable 2.037 with a significance of 0.173 > 0.05, meaning that work mutation has no relationship or no significant effect on employee performance and the work environment variable has a Tcount value of 4.257 > Ttable 2.037 with significance 0.001 < 0.05, meaning that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, the job transfer and work environment variables get an Fcount value of 21.061 > Ftable value 3.29 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that the job mutation and work environment variables have a positive influence and can have a significant effect on employee performance if done together. It was found that the coefficient of determination value was 54.1%, meaning that the job transfer variables and work environment had a 54.1% influence on the performance of employees at PT.
