The use of work facilities that are not ergonomic and do not support work activities carries a high risk of causing occupational diseases such as Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). MSDs are occupational diseases that occur when activities and work significantly affect the normal function of soft tissues in the musculoskeletal system, including nerves, tendons and muscles. The Citra Tani Rice Refinery, which operates to process paddy into rice, is facing problems at the rice packaging station, especially in the process of lifting rice sacks. Workers often complain of pain when lifting sacks of rice weighing 20 to 30 kilograms. This is proven by the results of the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire, which shows that the most common complaints are in the right upper arm, right lower arm and left upper arm. The results of work posture analysis using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) show that several body parts require improvement. Therefore, designing ergonomic work aids needs to be done using the Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) method. The result of designing work facilities using the EFD method is the use of a manual conveyor
