Pemanfaatan Objek Wisata di Danau Toba (Studi Kasus Pantai Pesanggrahan Parapat Kecamatan Girsang Sipangan Bolon Kabupaten Simalungun)

Abstract

This thesis is entitled Utilization of Tourism Objects on Lake Toba (case study: Parapat Pesanggrahan Beach) which describes how an individual utilizes a tourist object that makes one of the tourism destinations on Lake Toba. The purpose of this study is how to use tourist objects that emphasize the simple tourism sector and find out the opinions of the surrounding community about the existence of Parapat Pesanggrahan Beach. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The technique used to obtain data in this study was an observation technique which was carried out directly at the research site and an in-depth interview technique between the researcher and the informant in order to obtain accurate data. Also using other data collection techniques that support in obtaining information, namely by documentation techniques using cameras and voice recorders, also using literature studies. The results of this research are that land owners take advantage of natural beauty and clean beaches. With the existence of the Pesanggrahan beach tourist attraction, it can improve the economy of land owners because it provides the facilities needed by tourists. These facilities include huts for shelter or relaxing, toilets, speed boats, banana boats, and also water bikes. Apart from these facilities, the land owner also provides other facilities such as a fishing area and parking area. The existence of this tourist attraction provides positive value to the community, especially those who sell and work on the pesanggrahan beach. Tourists who come to visit Pesanggrahan Beach and the people around Parapat feel happy and proud of this beach. Apart from enjoying its beauty, it can also add to the economy of the local community.
