    Abstract
A pellet extruder is a type of production machine used to convert raw materials in the form of fish meal, fine bran, mocaf flour and fresh water into pellets or solid granules. Product problems are disruptions in product assembly due to deposition of raw materials after the operation process. Problem observations were carried out in the pellet extruder machine production workshop. Based on the problems with the product, a product improvement design is needed using the integration of design for assembly with the canoe model and design for serviceability. The results of the proposed attribute design with One Dimensional (O) level of satisfaction with the highest customer satisfaction and customer dissatisfaction, namely the attributes of tools in the product and reducing the number of components, thereby reducing assembly time and assembly costs. Pellet extruder product improvement design can reduce product assembly time, number of product components, and product assembly costs as well as increase product design efficiency compared to actual design.
