In the era of Industry 4.0, the development of multimedia and the internet has
facilitated the distribution and transmission of information. However, security and
confidentiality of information often pose significant challenges. One way to
address this is through steganography techniques, which allow the hiding of secret
information within digital media without attracting the attention of third parties.
The Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT)
algorithms are two commonly used techniques in steganography for embedding
data into digital media such as images and videos. In this study, we propose a
comparison between the DCT-2D algorithm, DWT, and the Least Significant Bit
(LSB) insertion method in video steganography. Through the performance
analysis of these three algorithms, this research aims to provide a better
understanding of the effectiveness and relative advantages of each approach in
concealing secret information within videos.
