The respiratory system is an important system in living things, including vertebrate animals. The respiratory system is one of the topics taught in biology lessons that require learning media to make observations. Meanwhile, the learning media used in general are conventional media, such as whiteboards, pictures, books and animations or videos that are often less efficient and less interactive, especially in online learning which requires clear visualization and accessible practicum without dissecting animals. In this research, augmented reality technology is utilized to build an application that can display the respiratory organs of vertebrate animals as learning media. The application is built using the markerless method and is based on the Android operating system. The purpose of this application is to facilitate users in learning the respiratory organs of vertebrate animals with several features and interactions that have been available in the application of vertebrate animal respiratory organs. From the results of the user test in the form of a questionnaire of 40 students showed an average satisfaction of 86.46%, while the expert test of 3 biology teachers showed an average assessment of 92%, indicating that this markerless-based augmented reality application is effective and efficient as an interactive learning media for vertebrate animal respiratory organs, with a high level of satisfaction from users and experts.
