dc.description.abstractNano calcium phosphate cement has been made using blood cockle shells to produce nano calcium phosphate, nano ZnO and PVA. The preparation of nano calcium phosphate from blood cockle shells was carried out using the 1000oC calcination and the precipitation method. Nano calcium phosphate was tested with PSA and the nano calcium phosphate size was 54 nm. Nano calcium phosphate cement is made with a composition ratio of nano calcium phosphate and nano ZnO with PVA (45wt%;5wt%;50wt%), (40wt%;10wt%;50wt%), (35wt%;15wt%;50wt%), ( 30wt%;20wt%;50wt%). Printed with mold d=5 mm and t=2 mm and allowed to dry at room temperature. XRF results show that the synthesized shellfish contains 96% calcium and 1.59% phosphorus. The density, compressive strength and hardness of nano calcium phosphate cement tend to increase the more nano ZnO is added, namely, the density of nano calcium phosphate cement is 1,5776 gr/cm3, thermal expansion is 6.05 x 10-6 /°C, compressive strength is 85.76 MPa and hardness of 48.9 VHN. The results of the XRD analysis of the samples formed tricalcium phosphate, calcium hydroxide and calcium oxide phases. The surface morphology of the nano calcium phosphate cement is distributed quite evenly.en_US
