Lactose intolerance is a condition that can cause various uncomfortable digestive symptoms and can affect a person's quality of life. Lactose is an important element found in milk and its processed products. Not all humans can digest lactose because sufficient lactase enzymes are needed. Some people do not have the lactase enzyme so their bodies are lactose intolerant. Early and correct diagnosis is the key to reducing the impact of this disease. This research aims to design a mobile-based lactose intolerance expert system. The benefit of this research is to help the public in diagnosing lactose intolerance and providing solutions and treatment related to lactose intolerance to the public. In the lactose intolerance diagnosis expert system discussed in this study, the Mamdani fuzzy logic method is applied with the aim of optimizing the system's performance in producing appropriate and accurate diagnosis output with the expert knowledge obtained by the author during research on lactose intolerance. The lactose intolerance diagnosis expert system is a technology application that uses the mobile-based fuzzy mamdani method to assist users in identifying the possibility of lactose intolerance based on the symptoms experienced. Mamdani's fuzzy method is used as a framework to model uncertainty in the interpretation of various symptoms. The results of calculating the accuracy value for testing this expert system, obtained an accuracy value of 86% and prove that the lactose intolerance expert system can work well.
