Stunting in toddlers is a big problem in developing countries, such as Indonesia. Indonesia is ranked 115th out of 150 countries in 2020 according to World Health Organization (WHO) statistics for the proportion of children experiencing stunting. One step to reduce the impact of this disease is early diagnosis. To help parents avoid premature stunting, this project aims to develop a mobile-based expert system for diagnosing stunting in toddlers. To make things easier for parents, researchers created a system to diagnose stunting and provide the right solution. The system was created using the variable centered intelligent rule system (VCIRS) method. Where the Node Usage Rate (NUR), Rule Usage Rate (RUR), and Node Usage Rate (NUR) show the increasing rule value for the selected indicator and the Certainty Factor technique so that the user knows what the percentage certainty value of each selected symptom is. In this research, an accuracy rate of 78% was found, which shows that this system can function well.
