The selection process for prospective interns to Japan plays an important role in ensuring the success of the internship program. The selection carried out by prospective workers includes a body fitness test, physical endurance test, interview, medical check-up and Japanese language test. The Stepwise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) method and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which are implemented via the website, are used to develop this system. The model built is trained with expert knowledge and the weights given by the expert to determine the possible names of participants who are worthy of departure. The calculation results from the model are in accordance with the manual calculations carried out, as well as the results of trials and implementation on 10 prospective workers and obtained 8 results that matched between the model and the expert or 80% and 20% that did not match.
