Abstract

This paper describes the plot and conflicts in the movie Dead Poets Society, directed by Peter Weir. It focuses on how the story and characters address themes like identity and rebellion against conformity. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study explores the plot and conflict external and internal, especially the students characters, against the strict environment of Welton Academy. The goal is to enhance understanding of plot and conflicts in films and contribute to literary studies by providing insights into the movie's themes.
