    Abstract
    Every year, Muslims worldwide celebrate the Qurban ritual, including in Indonesia. One of the eligible animals for Qurban is goats. Sellers establish a decision support system for their goat livestock to choose the best Qurban goat. A Decision Support System (DSS) is an information system used to assist in decision making processes. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a decision-making technique used to evaluate and select alternatives based on predefined criteria. The weight of goat factors can be easily measured and recorded using Internet of Things (IoT) based digital scales. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept where various devices and sensors can connect and communicate via the internet in real-time. In this research, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is employed to aid in selecting the best Qurban goats according to Sharia law. With this system, users can accurately and swiftly identify the best Qurban goats based on criteria such as age, weight, and health. The accuracy of IoT based data input into a system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is demonstrated by implementing IoT-based digital scales and simulating them. The research findings indicate that the data input into the Internet of Things (IoT) based system can be integrated with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and effectively determine the suitability of goat livestock as Qurban animals. The data in the system has also been validated by the breeder.
