Keterpilihan Kader AMPI pada Pemilihan Legislatif Kota Medan Tahun 2019 Studi Kasus AMPI Kota Medan

Abstract

The election of Ampi cadres in Medan City in the 2019 Medan city legislative election was an interesting process before the legislative election took place, making researchers interested in turning it into a scientific paper. The author wants to see what the process is like, and also whether there is a certain influence on the election of Ampi's cadres. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely research that is directed at providing facts or events in a systematic and accurate manner regarding the nature of the research and analyzing the truth based on data obtained from interviews, books, and websites. Data collection techniques using interviews. To answer research problems, researchers use Patron & Client Theory, Clientelism Theory. From the results of the study it was concluded that according to the facts and data that the author got. Political Patronage in the Selection of AMPI Cadres for Medan City in the 2019 Medan City DPRD Member Election, which was carried out by Syaf Lubis as Patron and 3 AMPI Cadres for Medan City as clients. The political relationship between AMPI, the Golkar Party, and the role of Syaf Lubis is mutually sustainable, starting from the Medan City Golkar Party which is chaired by Syaf Lubis providing an opportunity and platform for 3 of its cadres in AMPI to be elected in the 2019 Medan City DPRD Member Election.Keywords: Russia, Crimea, Annexation, Factors, Interests.
