    Abstract
    The use of plastic has been increasing over the years, leading to a rise in plastic waste. One of the plastics contributing to this waste is Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), commonly found in single-use beverage bottles. PET plastic is chosen due to its abundant availability and its resistance to environmental degradation. In this research, the process involves melting the plastic, followed by molding and cooling to form lightweight aggregates. The goal is to explore the characteristics of concrete with PET plastic waste as a substitute for coarse aggregates. Palm kernel shell ash (PKSA) exhibits pozzolanic properties and contains approximately 52% silica. It can be mixed with cement to enhance mortar strength. Concrete mixtures are cast into cylindrical molds, and testing is conducted at 28 days of age with varying percentages of PET plastic bottle waste (0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%). The lightweight concrete has an average bulk density of 1473.67 kg/cm³. The compressive strength decreases sequentially as follows: 8.78 MPa, 7.95 MPa, 7.06 MPa, 6.96 MPa, and 6.66 MPa. Similarly, the flexural strength also decreases sequentially: 1.69 MPa, 1.60 MPa, 1.47 MPa, 1.38 MPa, and 1.11 MPa
